This is the current Lluvandor LaRp system in use.

The Lluvandor LaRp system was developed through a trail and error process. In fact its still in the trail and error process. It started off as a very small group having one on one duels in our backyards. However we have began to expand and now have a very unique and complex system we use to play by.

Combat Rules:
  1. Head shots are strictly forbidden! If for any reason your attack hits your opponents head you are dead. Even if your opponent is the one who deflected your blow to his own head. This rule can be overturned if the victim chooses to ignore the blow, either it was not hard enough to affect fighting or for other personal reasons (like he isnt a wuss!).
  2. All players start off at level 1. This means that all players start off with the same amount of hit points. Your number of hit points increases as you level. After you gain 5 levels you gain 1 hp in all parts of your body. For example: a level 1 has 3 hp in his torso and 4 in all his limbs, however a level 6 has 4 hp in his torso and 5 in all his limbs. If any part of your body's hps are reduced to 0 then you lose function of that limb. If a limb is lost it can not do anything, cannot hold your weight, or that of a weapon.
  3. Weapons can be thrown, some are designed specifically for that. Any black weapon may be thrown at an opponent and still cause damage. Any other weapon that is thrown is nothing more than a distraction.
  4. If you are killed, die! Do not just stand around watching the other fights (Morse!), get on the ground and be dead. Carry out a prolonged death scene if necessary, but hit the dirt afterwards. Opponents need to know who to loot afterwards. When you die begin counting to 30. Once this time is up you may go mark your death at the market and use your free pass back to your home base.
  5. Keep track of your own hp! Do not worry about how weak your opponent is, this only leads to confusion on the battlefield. Keep fighting until your foe falls.
  6. During the normal campaign fighting it is possible to loot your opponents fallen bodies. You may take one piece of armor or one weapon as long as it is not the primary weapon of the player. All money can be taken. You may also loot one item if you do not want armor or a weapon(or none are on your victim). A quiver of arrows counts as one item. If you are not going to take anything tell the corpse so he can go mark his death.
  7. When you die, and die you shall, go to the specified location and fill out your name, level, and who killed you. You can do this as soon as you have been looted or told you have nothing they want or you have counted down the 30 seconds. Everytime you die you will have to pay some currency in order to revive your character. After a certain level money will not be able to recover your body, and you will need the help of a caster to bring him back to life.
  8. For casting you only need to have eye contact with a majority of your target and preform the spell as its written out in your spell book.

Weapons and Safety:

  1. First thing anyone should know before playing this game, is that people do get hurt. These weapons are built to cause as little harm as possible but when the adren gets going its hard to tell. This is only a game, you dont actually have to kill your opponents (Hawk!). Just making contact will do.
  2. All weapons must be covered in at least 2 layers of foam. This includes the tip.
  3. Black weapons deal 1 point of damage, white 2, and red 3.
  4. All weapons must be brought before Thistlewood before use so it can be checked out and marked for damage.
  5. Armor can be made out of just about anything. Just bring it up to us before the fight so we can give it some ac and you're on your way.
  6. If for any reason a weapon breaks during battle, drop it...you can make another one easily enough, no need killing someone with a piece of broken pvc.
